Join our distinguished panelists to explore the convergence and intersections of technology, medicine, and spirituality in behavioral healthcare. Topics examined include advances in EEG and biofeedback, ketamine therapy and its interaction with spirituality and meaning making, sensory resonance and multi-sensory integration, and a novel model of the atomic nervous system.

Learning Objectives

  • Identify four specific principles in sensory resonance and multi-sensory integration.
  • Discuss the efficacy of EEG and biofeedback how it is different from entrainment devices like rRMS.
  • Discuss the importance of set, setting, spirituality, and meaning in ketamine therapy.
  • Recognize ketamine's putative mechanisms of action, diagnostic indications, and differing treatment protocols.

  • Don Estes

Don Estes is a professionally trained neuroscientist who has lectured worldwide on sensory science, vibrational therapy and the new physics. He is founding CEO of InnerSense Inc., and inventor of VibraSound®, Sensory Resonance™ and other transformational technologies which have been featured on CNN, ABC, NBC, ET, Beyond 2000, Next Step, Science Frontiers, and many other media. His book…Transformation Via the Human Algorithm, and its master illustration…The Absolute Scale of Relative Cosmic Reality are the basis for this presentation.

Don Estes is a certified medical technologist, laboratory director and neuroscientist who has lectured worldwide on sensory science and vibrational medicine. He has appeared on CNN, NBC, ABC, Entertainment Tonight, Science Frontiers, and the Discovery Channel hits Beyond 2000 and Next Step, which won an Emmy award in 1994. In addition, his work has been featured in Wired, Computer Design, and Los Angeles Magazines and many other national and international media. He is also the author of many articles as well as a book called Harmonic Law: The Science of Vibration, which is illustrated by a large wall chart titled the Absolute Scale of Relative Cosmic Reality, one of the most complete compendiums of scientific and philosophical knowledge ever assembled.

He is founder and director of InnerSense, Inc. and inventor of VibraSound Sensory Resonance technologies used by both professional and nonprofessionals all over the world for music and sound therapy, relaxation, entertainment and expanded states of mind. His intellectual property is garnered from over thirty years experience in the unification of science, philosophy and religion and includes theories, proprietary knowledge and patents in the fields of light, color, sound, music and algorithmic automata. His unique combination of experience in both the hard and soft sciences represents the essence of true neuroscience.

In addition, he has consulted with hundreds of rejuvenation retreats, day spas, mind spas, medical professionals and location based entertainment facilities worldwide, having personally designed, built and operated three award-winning facilities called InnerSpace, MindWave and Aha! Spa.

InnerSense has recently revolutionized vibrational therapy by advancing the field beyond frequency and time into the phase domain where the complex world we experience is formed out of real and imaginary automatons. Effecting change at this level influences the entire history of any issue back to its origin and can lead to the actualization of potential…the current goal of evolution, and the essence of transformation. This process can has also been used to design and develop a futuristic alembic, which restructures water that provides serious solutions to environmental pollution and rehabilitation, both internal and external. Science now truly stands at the threshold of a new understanding of reality…one where intention and choice are primary to manifestation.

Don currently lives the Aha! Experience on a daily basis with his wife and two children in Santa Monica, California. His goal is to bring his special talents to bear on the vision of effecting true and lasting change in the world through innertainment, integration and transformation.

  • Bill Scott, BSW, CCDP

Bill Scott is considered one of the pioneers in the field of neurofeedback beginning his career in the 1990s when the field was still very young. He is a Board Certified Neurotherapist and Instructor, has been featured as an EEG Biofeedback Expert on CBS’s The Doctors and Discovery Science, lectured at the American Psychiatric Association five times, and presented research at the American Association for the Advancement of Science as Principal Investigator of a UCLA study.

The aforementioned UCLA study is one of the largest randomized controlled trials in the field of EEG Biofeedback, and was conducted during his appointment as a UCLA Staff Research Associate V. In 2005 the results of the study were published in The American Journal of Drug and Alcohol Abuse.

In 1993, Bill also worked as Principal Investigator and first author of an addiction research project with another well-known pioneer in the field, Dr. Eugene Peniston, where they yielded an unprecedented 79% success rate with Native American alcoholics. The Psychiatric Times published a feature article interviewing Bill about this landmark study. The Scott-Peniston Protocols are still referred to by the names of the original scientists (see above timeline for the complete evolution of these protocols).

Considered a foremost authority on alpha-theta (an invaluable protocol for PTSD, phobias & fears, anxiety, peak performance, etc.), Bill was asked to teach and consult with Dr. John Gruzelier and his team in preparation of their study designed to improve the musical acumen of students at the Royal Conservatoire in London. The results of this research project have since been incorporated in the school’s mandatory curriculum. Bill has also contributed a chapter on alpha-theta in Jim Robbins’ book, A Symphony in the Brain. Athletes from around the world, including Olympians and World Cup Champions, continue to consult with and follow Bill’s alpha-theta protocols for peak performance.

He has also been published in the January 2000 issue of Clinical Electroencephalography (EEG), an official journal of the EEG and Clinical Neuroscience Society (ECNS), and the September 2011 Journal of Neurotherapy on developments in EEG analysis, protocol selection and feedback delivery.

Bill Scott has taught more than 3,000 neurofeedback practitioners around the globe since 1995. Classes have been taught on behalf of EEG Spectrum, BrainMaster, Stens, Lexior, Thought Technology and BrainPaint®. Bill continues his research and innovative developments in the field of EEG Biofeedback as CEO of BrainPaint®.
